Watch and Pray with Me” Prayer Guide: for the United States and Israel.

Jesus asked His disciples to, “Watch and Pray with Me for one hour.” Why one hour? So that they would not enter into temptation: the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Matt. 26:40-41. Are you willing to pray with Him for one hour?

Below  is a prayer guide to help you pray for the United States, youth, and Israel.

 

Watch and Pray with Me: The United States:

  • Repentance

    • Jer. 2:13- For My people have committed two evils: The have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, and hewn themselves cisterns- broken cisterns that can hold no water.
    • II Chron. 7:14-15– “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place.”
    • Acts 3:19– Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.
  • The Calling

    • Lev. 25:10– “And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession and each of you shall return to his family.”
    • Rom. 11:29- For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.
    • Psalm 33:12- Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.
    • Isa. 28:17– I will make justice the measuring line, and righteousness the plummet; the hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters will overflow the hiding place.
  • The Border

    • Heb. 1:8-9- ..a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness.
    • Isa. 60:18– Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, neither wasting nor destruction within your borders; but you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.
    • Psalm 74:17- You have set all the borders of the earth; You have made summer and winter.
    • Psalm 147:14– He makes peace in your borders and fills you with the finest of wheat.
  • Protection

    • Ps. 91:1-16.
    • Ps. 127:1– “Unless the LORD builds the house they labor in vain who build it; unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.
    • Isa. 54:17– “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgement you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me, “says the Lord.
  • Election Integrity

    • Job 5:12– He frustrates the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot carry out their plans.
    • Ps.33:10-11- The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect. The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations.
    • Prov. 15:3– The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.
    • Eccl. 12:14- For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil.
  • Godly Candidates

    • Esther 10:3- For Mordecai the Jew was second to King Ahasuerus, and was great among the Jews and well received by the multitude of his brethren, seeking the good of his people and speaking peace to all his countrymen.
    • Titus 2:6– in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility…..
    • Ps. 78:72– So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart, and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands
    • Ps. 29:2- When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when a wicked man rules, the people groan
  • Media

    • Matt. 24:14- And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations and then the end will come.
    • Isa. 52:7- How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation…
    • Eph. 6:12- For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this world and wicked spirits in heavenly places.
    • Col. 2:15- Jesus disarmed principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them triumphing over them in it (=the cross).

 

 Stand and Pray with Me: The Youth

  • Salvation

    • 2Tim1:5-6– When I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also.
    • II Tim. 2:22– Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
    • II Tim. 3:15– and that from your childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
    • Joel 2:28– And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.
  • Deliverance

    • Exod. 9:13– Then the Lord said to Moses, “Rise early in the morning and stand before Pharaoh, and say to him, “Thus says the Lord God of the Hebrews; “Let My people go that they may serve Me.”
    • John 8:36– Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.
    • II Cor. 3:17– Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom.II
    • Acts 10:38– How God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and power and He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil.
  • Rescue from Human Trafficking

    • Isa. 49:15-16- “Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before Me.
    • Psalm 68:20- Our God is the God of salvation; and to God the Lord belong escapes from death.
    • I Cor. 10:13- No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able but with the temptation will also make a way of escape that you may be able to bear it.
  • Education

    • Isa. 54:13– All your children shall be taught by the Lord and great shall be the peace of your children.
    • Deut. 6:6-7– And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way. When you lie down, and when you rise up.
    • Deut. 11:19- You shall teach them (God’s word) to your children, speaking of them, when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down and when you rise up.  

Kneel and Pray with Me: Israel:

Gen. 12:3– I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.

Jer. 31:35-36– Thus says the Lord, Who gives the sun for a light by day, the ordinances of the moon and stars for a light by night……..”If these ordinances depart from before Me says the Lord, then the seed of Israel shall also cease from being a nation before Me forever.”

Ps. 122:6-7- Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you.  Peace be within your walls, prosperity within your palaces”.

Jesus continues to ask  “Watch and Pray with Me” that you enter not into temptation; the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak… are you willing to watch and pray with Him?
